The Relationship between Anger Control and Design Code in View of the Semiotics : Focused on Language and Image

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to propose design codes for anger control through analysis and interpretation of language, images, and design elements that rise in anger control. Through the survey, we investigated language and mental image in anger control and analyzed the relationship between anger control language, mental image and design elements based on the semiotics of Firth. Directly expressing anger control, the diagram consisted of the design elements of the horizontal, circle, and curve of the original plan, as a symmetrical arrangement in stability, enjoyment, emptiness and languor. An indicator associated with the emotion of anger control was shown as a sense of stability, a curve in pleasure between two objects, or as a partial, overall covering of the central target. In the form section, the sense of stability was seen as a structure in which the sides were on the line or the sides were on the top and bottom. The analyzed design code can be fundamental to mitigating anger through user space use by applying it to future space.
