Abstract

This study analyzed the characteristics of the urban regeneration New Deal project, which is currently underway for 10 years, and based on the results, it was conducted with the purpose of establishing data that can be referred to in the establishment of future activation plans. The contents of the study were, first, to analyze the commonalities and specificities of the proposal by conducting a full investigation of the New Deal project revitalization plan to support housing for old residential areas in Busan. Second, the general trend was derived by comparing and analyzing the proposed project type, project size, and composition contents according to the characteristics of the project site, and the relationship between flat land and slope, population composition and project composition method. In order to overcome the uniformity of the New Deal project prepared according to the guidelines of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, objective evidence for reference to the revitalization plan was provided, including projects considering regional characteristics.
