Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the conditional approvals of landscape deliberations related to apartment complexes in Hwaseong City from 2020 to 2022, identify the characteristics of landscape elements, and propose directions for landscape management. The study concludes that interest in the landscape of apartment complexes is increasing, various landscape elements are being comprehensively considered, and attention to the management aspects of apartment landscapes is expanding. Additionally, the importance of external spaces and landscaping is particularly high, and differentiated landscape deliberations are necessary depending on the scale and type of apartment complexes. In particular, for the effective management of high-quality landscapes, a systematic and continuous management approach should be implemented, taking into account the characteristics of apartment complexes and residents’ preferences. Moreover, raising residents’ awareness of landscape management is essential. By recognizing the value of landscapes and actively participating in their maintenance, residents can contribute to the preservation of high-quality landscapes.
