A Study on a Variation of Sense of Space by Changing Lighting Color according to Material Preference of Interior Space-User 실내공간이용자의 재료선호에 따른 조명색변경에 의한 공간감 변화에 관한 연구

Abstract

The space users would feel interior space, the sum of floor, wall, ceiling and finishing on each part totally and synthetically. Spatial users can feel space by finishing and lighting. Changing lighting color can give space users various sense of space. However if each person uses same space, each person would have finishing material preference. And each person can feel sense of space differently. In this study, according to finishing material preference and changing lighting color, how sense of space is different. The results as follows: 1) sense of space in each lighting color can be felt according to finishing material preferences. 2) red lighting color has negative sense of space except ‘clear’ chosen by concrete finishing material preference-person 3) cool white lighting color sometimes has negative sense of space as ‘heavy’, ‘abnormal’ by wood finishing material preference-person, ‘hate’ by concrete finishing material preference-person and ‘closed’ by glass finishing material preference-person
