Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide data for the high-rise design of modular construction and to examine the possibility of the spread of modular construction apartments by conducting a post-residential evaluation of G Town. Post-occupancy evaluation was conducted on G Town, which is used as a dormitory located in Gwangyang. The survey was conducted through an online survey and analyzed through SPSS. The results of the study are as follows. First, noise and vibration, which were pointed out as disadvantages of modular structure, did not differ in terms of residents’ satisfaction compared to reinforced concrete. The performance aspect of the modular construction showed the satisfaction level of residents of the same performance as the reinforced concrete structure as a design supplement. Second, there was no statistically significant difference in satisfaction with the performance of the residents of the lower, middle, and middle class of the modular structure. Third, the analysis results of IPA also showed the same results as the satisfaction comparison survey. Vibration and noise felt by residents were measured with high importance and high satisfaction. In other words, residents recognized that vibration and noise were advantages of the modular construction method under the premise that the conditions for design and construction of the survey building were the same.
