Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop evaluation indicators for community activation and to analyze the effects of community activation and changes in resident perception. The contents of the study are as follows: First, it is to develop an evaluation indicators for community activation. Second, the performance of the support project is analyzed using evaluation indicators. Third, it presents implications for the policy to revitalize the community. The subject of the study is Seongdong-gu, Seoul, as a spatial range. 30 Multi-family Housings that received support projects and their residents were surveyed. The research methods were Delphi survey, field survey of 30 Multi-family Housings, interview of 74 resident leaders, and survey of 412 residents. The results of the study are as follows. (1) The evaluation indicators for community activation was derived from an evaluation indicators consisting of 5 values and 54 items. (2) As a result of calculating the average of each indicators value, it was found that ‘community consciousness’ 3.8 points, ‘self-reliance’ 4.0 points, ‘sustainability’ 4.0 points, ‘Residence status’ 3.8 points, and ‘Neighborhood connectivity’ 3.4 points (5 points scale). (3) The policy tasks was proposed to secure support budget, expand community education for resident representatives, promote social consensus.
