Abstract

This paper aims to explore the overall process of fine-tuning an image gen AI model with the objective of generating safe spaces based on user information. Users with physical discomforts require spaces that reflect their physical characteristics to ensure safety. In particular, elderly individuals often experience accidents in their living environments as a result of aging, making it essential to propose appropriate solutions. Consequently, this study proposes a method for generating alternative spatial images based on users’ physical characteristics, and the research proceeds as follows: 1. Investigation of required safety features based on the physical characteristics of aging, grounded in prior research. 2. Development of a spatial mapping system for safety-related objects, along with the creation of BIM models and spatial visualization image data. 3. Derivation of a fine-tuned generative AI model. The fine-tuned model can then generate images that provide alternative solutions, including necessary safety features for elderly users. Through this study, both users and designers can gather spatial information that incorporates their physical traits, and the resulting spatial images and mapping systems can serve as valuable data for future research.
