Recognition Evaluation of Hybrid Hanok Model 하이브리드한옥 모델에 대한 인식 평가

Abstract

Hybrid Hanok is an architecture type that combines the advantages of modern and traditional in one building. The fusion of tradition and modernity is manifested in various ways such as material, structure, style and space composition. However, In some cases, these types of architecture give an unnatural impression with the fusion of heterogeneous forms. The purpose of this study is to derive an ideal model by grasping the perception of Hybrid Hanok. The model and the type of Hybrid Hanok were defined through previous research. Based on these models, four representative models were set up and 3D modeling for evaluation was made. and architectural workers and students evaluated the applicability of traditionality, creativity (or complexity) and traditional landscape to four models. The results of the study are as follows. Respondents agreed that the traditional Hanok should maintain its original form. At the same time, the Hanok has very positive evaluation of the Hybrid Hanok, which is a fusion of modern buildings. Therefore, traditional Hanok can be developed in harmony with creative design without being bound to traditional style of architecture. This confirmed the possibility of developing Hybrid Hanok.
